Post Shop Hop....

Okay....we survived and lived to tell the
story of Shop Hop 2009. Here are some pics Tracey took for us. I don't know why I get so caught up in everything and then forget to take pictures to "capture the moment"! We had so much fun this year! The customers were great and all of us worker bees enjoyed meeting so many new folks from all over the country.

their passports stamped a
nd receive their block kit. The gals at the stamp station were my heroes! We gave away 2269 block kits this year - only one small problem. Carol only cut for 2,000. So, we were cutting and they were bagging for us. In the end, it worked out just fine.

So, we were cutting and they were bagging for us. In the end, it worked out just fine. Since Jan and Linda were both in Alaska, we all worked lots of hours, and Emily's sister, Haley, came to help us out. She did lots of folding and putting fabric away - a real "Girl Friday". She was GREAT!
Post Shop Hop, we've been putting things back in order and having fun thinking of new projects to do! And we do have a few block kits left, as well as the popular laminated smaller poster and finishing directions for "The Quilt".
Well, I'm off to make potato salad and work on cleaning my sewing area a bit more, and laundry, of course. Hope to spend part of the day just sitting! Have a safe and glorious 4th of July!
