Thanksgiving...

This is a picture of what we're going to be making next Friday at Suz's Make/Take class. They are great little portfolio covers! Would be a fantastic gift for a certain teacher I know. And FYI, there was a lot of interest for another Fun Fruit class, so we've scheduled that for Thursday, December 10th. Both classes are from 10:30-2:30 and the cost is $15 which includes all of the patterns! There are still a couple of slots open in each class.
It smells like Thanksgiving at my house this Saturday after the fact. We had a last minute change of plans when our grandson, Lukas ended up in surgery at Children's in Seattle for an infection. Thought maybe we could pull it off for tomorrow, but he's still there. So, I have the turkey in the oven right now so we'll have lots of turkey sandwiches and soup next week! We're headed down there tomorrow to see our daughter, Luke and maybe some of the rest of the family.
I tried to do some serious cleaning at the shop this week, but it looks almost worse than when I started! But you all know how that is....it gets lots messier before it gets better - right?? Believe me I am clinging to that!
Hope you all are having a good holiday weekend. I think you can agree that no matter what, we can always find something to give thanks for. In addition to my own family, I have a wonderful family of staff/friends that I am privileged to work with every week. And the privilege of serving all of you each day is icing on the cake. I am thankful this Saturday after Thanksgiving.
